Adesso Digitizes Handwritten Notes at CES International with New Line of CyberPad Digital Notepads

CES 2007, LAS VEGAS -- January 7, 2007 -- Adesso Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative and Intergrated keyboards, mice, trackballs, touchpads, touchpad, Tablets, barcode scanner, webcam and other input peripherals, is showcasing its new line of its digital notepads for consumers, executives, artists, mobile professionals, and students. The new CyberPad series will be available in January 2007 for $199.99 MSRP. The CyberPad will be on display at CES International January 8 – 11 in the Sands Convention Center, booth 71927.
Paper-based notepads and notebooks are still the most popular choice for writing notes, capturing ideas, and drawing sketches – even with the incredible variety of laptops, PDAs, and tablet PCs available today. The Adesso new CyberPad combines the familiarity and comfort of a regular notepad combined with the added benefits of PC connectivity.
Once connected to a PC, Adesso’s CyberPad can also convert into a fully-functional PC tablet, which is an ideal input solution for computer artists, graphic designers, photo editors and office and CAD/CAM applications. Other emerging applications include Internet whiteboard graphics, signature verification for e-commerce as well as handwriting/text conversion.
The CyberPad includes 32MB of internal memory which provides 26 directories (A-Z) with 99 pages available in each – and is further expandable with the integrated SD slot – which can also function as an SD card reader. It then connects to a PC via USB to instantly transfer and manage notes and images. The CyberPad included a charger and four AAA rechargeable batteries, which offers up to 120 hours of use.
