will sell two new UMAX digital cameras, the 3.3 megapixel AstraSlim
F4 and the 1.3 megapixel AstraSlim F1. These ultra-slim cameras combine

Adesso also announced that it would distribute UMAX full line of digital
cameras in North America, Canada, and Latin America.
The UMAX
AstraSlim F4 captures images up to 3.3 megapixel (6.6 megapixel images
interpolated) and can also capture AVI video on its 8MB internal memory
or using a removable SD/MMC card. The camera includes an optical viewfinder
and a built-in 4x digital zoom. It features a stylish, extremely thin
metal casing and an ultra precise 1.5-inch color LCD. The AstraSlim
F4 can capture images in six different scene modes, 5 varieties for
date and time stamp, and can also capture up to 12 shots in rapid succession
using a burst setting. The camera offers a built-in macro switch and
the ability to adjust image sharpness/softness. The F4 can also connect
to a TV and provides index, single, slide show and video playback. The
MSRP of the F4 is $179.00
At about
the size of a credit card, the UMAX AstraSlim F1, featuring a 1.3 mega-pixel
CMOS sensor and a user-friendly interface. The AstraSlim F1 is an extremely
lightweight, comfortable camera that can go just about anywhere. The
built-in macro switch and high speed shutter allows users to capture
highly-detailed pictures quickly. The camera includes a rechargeable
lithium ion battery, 8MB of internal memory, and 2x digital zoom. The
MSRP of the F1 is $49.99
