1. How Do I pair my Nuscan 4000B with my iPad /Tablet or iOS device?

To pair your Nuscan 4000B with your iPad, Tablet or iOS device, please download the quick guide below and refer to the instructions on page 7-8.

2. Why wont my barcode scanner show any scans in my own software? 

















Please confirm first if this occurs in NotePad, EXCEL or MS WORD or if it is occurring in JUST your 3rd party software application
Please provide a sample of your barcode to our Technical Support Dept if it is NOT scanning in 1 of the 3 programs I have mentioned. 

If it is NOT scanning in ONLY 3rd party software, you would need to contact that company to see what they recommend the configuration is 
since ALL 3rd party software requires some sort of configuration be done on the barcode scanner to be implemented with their software.

3. I have having trouble getting my scanner setup and it wont scan anything.

Please reset the scanner using the quick guide and referring to #5:

Make sure your scanner cradle is plugged in DIRECTLY in your computer- not into a KVM, HUB, or USB EXTENDER. If its in the front USB port move it to the back.Make sure your scanner has been charged at least 4 hours, and the button underneath the scanner holder has been pushed in.
Flip over the cradle and scan the 3 barcodes underneath in order.

Open up Notepad/MS Word/ Or Excel. Make sure your cusor is flashing within the application and scan the barcode on our box. The numbers of the barcode should come up. If not please try all these steps on more than one computer. if still not responding, email support@adesso.com
