1. What to do if the tablet has no response?

When your Tablet is not working for any reason, please double check if you are able to move the mouse cursor with the stylus.

If not, simply follow the steps below to make some basic checks:

a) Check that the pen battery has power.

b) Check that if the LED is flashing when the tablet is connected to your PC.

c) Check that if the LED is on when the pen hovers on the tablet.

d) Check that if the LED is off when the pen touches the tablet and write on it.


If the above items are correct, but the tablet still does not work, please follow these instructions to install the latest version driver:

a) Disconnect the tablet

b) You must remove the previous version of driver or driver for other tablets first

c) Install latest version driver on the top of this page

d) After the new driver has been installed, reconnect the tablet.

e) Restart your computer.


If the device still doesn't work properly, then it could be a defective item.

3. What to do if I would like to use handwriting recognition or document annotation function?

For Windows Vista/ 7, there're handwriting recognition software and inking tool in Microsoft Office for you to use.

Handwriting Recogniztion Software:

You will see a hidden window on the left hand side of your screen when you move the pen close to the tablet. If it does not show up, please follow the steps below:

1. Unplug the tablet first and close the Control Panel Window that you opened previously

2. Re-plug the tablet into your PC and make sure you can move the cursor by the CyberPen

3. You should be able to see a hidden window on the left hand side of your computer screen

4. move the pen to the left hand side of the tablet and slightly move along the edge of the tablet

If you still cannot see the handwriting text box, try to open Control Panel again

1. Search for “Tablet PC Setting” -> Tab “Other” -> Tablet PC Input Panel options: “Go to Input Panel Setting”

2. Tab “Opening” -> Check “Show the icon on the task bar”

Now you should be able to write in the text box by clicking the icon on the task bar.

4. What to do if the tablet behaves strangely and where is the driver?

5. What to do if the tablet keeps loosing connection?

If you need to frequently connect your device, try the following:

Insert the device directly into the port on the back of PC without any adapter, hub, or switch

Try the device with another PC to see if same issue persists

Plug the device as the instruction below:

1. Plug in the USB cable when Windows is fully loaded

2. Connect the USB cable or ports with any adapter, hub, or switch is not recommended


If the device still doesn't work properly when connected, then it could be a defective item.

7. What to do if the tablet is proved to be defective?

Please go to RMA Online Request

Simply register and log in after you activate your account via email, you will see an online form for you. Kindly fill out the RMA form and submit it. One of our agents will take care of your case soon or contact Adesso RMA Dept. for more information.

 

Noted:

Please make sure that you have a copy of either the proof of purchase, confirmation e-mail or receipt for RMA/ Warranty Services

If the device is purchased within 30 days from vendor other than Adesso Inc., the defective product needs to be returned/exchanged through the vendor

Adesso Inc. cannot exchange for upgrade or downgrade

Make sure you have the serial number and the model number of the product ready for a faster process

No shipments can be made to shipping addresses outside of the continental United States.

According to the company return policy, Adesso cannot accept any returns or exchanges outside the USA, which are not purchased from Adesso directly. The one year product warranty only covers inside of the continental United States; therefore, no shipments can be made to shipping addresses outside of the continental United States.
