2. What to do if the blue light is blinking and what is the middle button for?

When CyberLink software has been executed, the device (AV-200) will flash blue lights which indicates that the device is currently in use.

The middle button on the device is designed as Snapshot Button. The user will be able to capture any screen shot in the video, and then save into the bundle software for editing.

     4. I keep receiving a "Copy Right" protected error message on my OWN home movies. Why?

This is a common issue depends on what type of tape you are using. When these tapes were initially made (Camcorder or VHS) the manufacturer

implemented a copyright  protection to prohibit copying, even if the material is of home movies, or non copyrighted  material.

Certain software can bypass this copyright protection and others cannot. The Cyberlink software is basic and cannot always bypass these

     copyright protections.

     This article explains:

http://askville.amazon.com/bypass-codes-vhs-tapes-copy-dvd/AnswerViewer.do?requestId=5919151

As an alternative I might recommend this software:

http://www.nchsoftware.com/goldenvideos/gvsetup.exe

It is free and it bypasses any copyright protection that is implemented on the tapes you are using.

It is not the AV-200 that is the problem. It’s the software.
